Sweet Potato – Asparagus – Kale Juice
I am really enjoying using my frozen kale. They were harvested from my garden, cooked for 5 minutes (until they wilted), and then immediately frozen. They aren’t bitter since I was harvesting young leaves, and they lend a nice flavor to this juice.
I love Indian curry, and since I’m not eating these days, the turmeric and curry just made this juice. Cinnamon, a slice of ginger (or even ground ginger) would have also been good. 🙂
I think since I can’t have any dried fruit at the moment, and the only curry I like has to have golden raisins – I think next time, I’ll add a handful of green grapes.

1 lge. Sweet potato, peeled
6 fresh Kale leaves, or 1 lb. frozen (thawed & drained)
2 handfuls asparagus, tough ends removed
2 lge. carrots, ends trimmed
Add 8 oz. cold water
1 tsp. Curry powder
1 tsp. Ground Turmeric
