Artichoke – Fire Roasted Red Pepper Juice

One more week to go on the frozen vegetables. I am also now using jarred vegetables, and though I do not particularly care so much for canned varieties, I decided to go ahead an add 1 small can to this recipe.

In your blender:

1 jar artichoke hearts, rinsed and drained
1 small can peas & carrots, rinsed and drained (fresh or frozen/thawed peas would be healthier)
2 TBS water
Pulse till liquified.

In your juicer:

6 fresh Kale leaves, or 1 lb. frozen (thawed & drained)
6 large carrots, ends removed
1/2 lime with peel
1 jar Red Fire-roasted pepper, rinsed and drained

Pinch of sea salt
